Aruba

We visited Aruba today. Beautiful!

Aruba is one of four countries that make up The Netherlands. Its 120,000 residence is made up of over 90 ethnic groups, making it one of the most diverse populations in the world. It is 75 square miles, and 20% of the island is national parks. From its shores, you can see Venezuela.

We visited the capital Oranjestad (pronounced “Or jun stad”), riding the trolley and walking the town’s quaint streets, then took a city bus north, stopping at several beaches along the way.

This evening we took a sunset catamaran cruise.

Karen updated our door today, and our pet grizzly was waiting for us when we arrived home.

Tomorrow, we will awake in Curaçao.
